BDM Indexes for Australia and New Zealand

This CD contains over 381,000 records of deaths registered in South Australia under a compulsory registration system introduced in 1842. It has been compiled entirely from information extracted from the death registrations held by the South Australian Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Office. It includes all registrations up to the end of the year 1972.

This datafile includes: the surname of the deceased, the given names, the date of death, the sex of the deceased, the name of a relation if he or she was the informant, the death place or residence and references. The CD is powered by Digger and runs on Windows including XP, Vista 32 bit and Windows 7 32 bit. For information about use on 64 bit systems see our website under Digger Support
